The fourth annual Latin-American Community Banking Forum which was named as “Innovations for Equal Social Inclusion,” took place in Medellin, Columbia, on August 12-14. At this event, Iris Lanao Flores from FINCA Peru spoke on “Social Performance, Impact and Financial Sustainability in the Banking Community” with help from Maria Del Carmen Arevalo, Cesar Heredia and Vanessa Cruz. |

This forum has been illustrated as an event that reunites microfinance institution representatives who implement community banking or are interested in doing so. Public and private institution representatives, consulters, investigators and other interested people from different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean also participate in the forum. |

The Latin-American Community Banking Forum began in 2003 to promote a permanent space for analysis, investigation, and exchange of experiences about the operation of this microfinance methodology in Latin-America. |
