FINCA Peru has received its final Social Rating report, a process that began in May 2007 with the “Microfinance Rating” agency. This information will contribute to the fulfillment of FINCA’s core social mission.

The Social Rating is an reliable, external evaluation of the institutional capacity of MFIs, helping put into practice the organizations’ social mission and ability to utilize commonly accepted development methods. The Social Rating is also an objective judgment of MFIs’ management, allowing comparison between similar organizations on a geographic and world level.
